What’s the Big Deal with Games Anyway?
Gaming has exploded in recent years — no pun intended. It isn’t just about Mario vs. Wario anymore. The term "games" is a massive category, covering arcade classics, VR headbangers, mobile whizbangs, and yes...sandbox games (more on those later). Whether it's an old-school RPG or that new open-world game that crashes my PC because it’s trying too hard — we've all been there.
Sandbox? Like for Kids or Some Kind of Virtual Messiness?
The sandbox here ain't for sandcastles (okay…maybe it kinda *is* if you stretch things a bit). Sandbox games give you space to create, experiment and basically be your own little god or chaos gremlin — whatever vibes more. You get rules loosely applied. Sometimes you get objectives but most of time, they say “Here’s a shovel. Goodluck." That’s part of the magic.
| Traditional Games | Sandbox Experiences |
